ANyone know of any good harmonizer pedals?

I've been looking at Boss OC-3
Boss HR-2
Boss PS-5/6

Or anything like EH the Worm?

I'm leaning towards the OC-3 or PS-6...

Nice one. Pitch shrifters are amazing. The Boss PS series all have good applications. I think best in recent times in the Eventide Pitchfactor. For live it replaces my PS3, EHX POG 1 and Whammy 2. It's great.

I just got the Boss PS-6. It's awsome! I recommend it. 4 octaves on the superbend, and it tracks chords like no other.

that pitchfactor looks nuts, i think its a little more than what i want...
I don't think I really want all of it...not to mention I dont have all the $$ for it...

PS-5 or 6?

Is the Pitchfactor user-friendly/simple to use? As far as plug in and play goes.

Yes and no. Once it makes sense it's easy to use, it just takes a little bit to get it going. With some of the sounds your pick attack is important too.

I find each pitchshifter has its own quality - especially once you start doing polyphonic pitchshifting. I didn't care for the Boss ones, the hog and pog are cool but like all ehx pedals really have a specific sound. I have a magicstomp that has really excellent pitchshifting. The Zoom G2 also has good pitchshifting - great as a whammy replacement, especially as it will shift chords. The whammy is great at what it does, for sure. Other pedals to check out:

Line6 M9 and M13
Morpheus capo and they have a new whammy killer as well

The PS-6 is very nice in my rig for the price, as I'm not a geek as far as harmonizer is concerned.

EHX 'ring thing' has a four octave range, is polyphonic & takes an expression pedal for all the "whammy" tricks. I wasn't very impressed with the PS6... way too hard to get something 'straight' out of it like a simple 5th or octave interval.

Boss SE-50 has an awesome pitchshifter. It's a half rack unit though.

Interesting! Thanks for the help!

I got a Boss PS-6 the other day, It's great for silly fun effects. For me, it was the best alternative to a whammy pedal available..

PS5 is cool. I wish the level knob was a little different. I really like how Electro Harmonix Micro POG, POG and HOG (favorite) control the dry and wet signal. The Eventide Pitchfactor is soo much money but soo much fun.

I'll check out that ring thing, it sounds cool
